FERNO Military Systems' Compact Treatment Station (CTS) is specifically designed with packability, mobility and immediate deployment in mind. Our Compact Litter Stands fold small enough to fit into multiple deployment hard cases and various Load Out Bags. The compact size of the (CTS) provides US Forces with a readily available station for casualty treatment. The CTS Kit includes (4) mounting brackets, (1) folding mayo stand, (1) Mayo tray and (2) IV poles for advanced treatment. FMS Litter Stands are load and cycle tested in pairs and will support 500 lbs. FMS Compact Litter stands will accept all rigid NATO litters. Unlike many predecessors, the FMS Compact Litter Stand can fold to approximately 1/2 its height. This simple feature allows our litter stand to be packed for mobile operations offering advanced treatment in forward areas.
The FMS IV Pole is a rugged and lightweight IV pole. Integrated height adjustment allows the IV Pole to be packed into cases and load out bags, while providing a desired height for treatment.
The Mayo Tray is a lightweight but sturdy and capable tray. Designed to provide a surface for medical instruments during advanced treatment.
The NAJO Lite is our lightest NAJO backboard at just 14.5 lb. It features a central slot in the lower half of the board to immobilize each leg separately. Two handholds at the tapered end allow stable transport and angled edges enable easy log-rolling. The NAJO Lite backboard is capable of floating 154 lb. NAJO boards meet OSHA recommendations with strong, one-piece high-density, polyethylene plastic construction. The backboards are filled with polyurethane foam and feature greater density around the handholds. They are impervious to all bodily fluids, easy to decontaminate, and are 100% radiolucent. Strong, yet lightweight, NAJO boards are buoyant and can float a patient in water.
Our Litter Conversion Rack (LCR) allows most pick-up trucks, cargo or passenger vans the capability to quickly convert and secure (2) casualties for immediate transport when using NATO style litters. The simple low profile design can be semi-permanently installed, or tied down like cargo in the vehicle. A custom Segway trailer variant is also available.
The Advanced Life Support Litter (ALSL) is no ordinary litter. Ideal for advanced care during long air transport, the ALSL can also support advanced treatment in ground vehicles, and through the entire transition of care (POI to stabilization) . Includes mounting solutions for an array of medical devices, and integrated “D” rings allow the litter to be tied down like cargo while the truss type design provides strength for aircraft G-loads when supported by its grips. Custom configurations for ECMO transport are also available.This stretcher has been developed and tested for Aviation use. The 28-A1N is a featherweight, rugged, proven transporter used by many of today’s civilian Aeromedical operators. Weighing in at 70 lbs, with a load capacity of 700 lbs, the 28-A1N is an ideal fit for the UH-72 Lakota. A Ground Compatibility Kit (GCK) option is available making the 28-A1N compatible with most ground ambulances and offers a perfect transport solution for military hospitals. Compatible with all NATO Litters.

Two straps with clips can be easily be fitted so that the patient can be attached to the mattress. The Ferno Aviation Folding Transport System (FTS) is designed for use with side loading medical aircraft to ease in patient movement. The FTS is custom compatible with Heli-Dyne dual-pivoting litter systems, standard Ferno and Lifeport stretchers. The FTS folds into a compact size for storage in the aircraft baggage compartment. It is easy to deploy and has no requirement for FAA certification. The Model 28-A is the Aeromedical version of Ferno's popular Model 28 Roll-in cot which has set the standard for easy patient loading in ground ambulances and helicopters. Based on customer feedback, the 28-A has been improved in several important ways to meet Aeromedical customer requirements. It is the most common stretcher used in the EC-135.
