SAERBAG III Rescue Bag

The SAERBAG III Rescue Bag is engineered for advanced patient rescue and transport in harsh environments, combining durability, versatility, and safety. Specifically designed to accommodate a Ferno SCOOPEXL™ Stretcher, Spineboard, or Vacuum Mattress, it supports secure patient immobilization and safe handling during complex rescue operations involving winches or ropes.Superior Material and Design: Crafted from a highly resistant, triple-coated fabric, the SAERBAG III is water- and oil-repellent, impervious to stains and mold, and resistant to wear and tear over time. The material withstands up to 2,000 cm³ of water pressure. Reinforced seams ensure long-lasting performance and reliability in critical situations.Semi-Rigid Mylar Cover with Windows: The semi-rigid Mylar cover features three large windows (front and sides), allowing operators to monitor the patient’s condition and reducing anxiety through greater visibility and interaction. Mylar provides excellent resistance to moisture, chemicals, and mechanical stress, ensuring optimal patient comfort.Reinforced Base and Internal Adjustments: The underside of the bag is reinforced for high resistance against tearing and abrasion when dragged across rough or uneven surfaces, making it ideal for any rescue scenario. An internal length adjustment system, featuring dual side straps, allows secure adaptation to different immobilization devices.Integrated Lifting Bridle with Anti-Rotation Features: The integrated lifting bridle includes 10 arms (5 per side) and two central lifting rings, equipped with a shortening system and red loops for balanced load distribution. Additionally, the EARS anti-rotation sails stabilize the bag during helicopter operations by counteracting rotational movements, ensuring a steady ascent or descent.Secure Fastening and Ergonomic Handling: Inside the bag, six internal fastening straps securely attach the stretcher, spineboard, or vacuum mattress. These straps can be positioned to match the stretcher's handles for secure immobilization. Externally, six high-visibility red handles are strategically placed for ergonomic handling in head, midsection, and foot areas.

Aviation Litter 9 Series Litter

The Model 9 and Model 9A litters are designed specifically for low-profile applications. Both models feature a multi position, locking backrest and include 4" wheels at the head end and stationary posts at the foot-end. The Model 9 includes FAA approved heavy-duty vinyl coated cover and (2) standard Ferno 430 patient  restraints. The Model 9A includes FAA approved cover and FAA approved patient restraints. Custom Model 9 and 9A's are avaialble.

Folding Transport System (FTS)

The Ferno Aviation Folding Transport System (FTS) is designed for use with side loading medical aircraft to ease in patient movement. The FTS is custom compatible with Heli-Dyne dual-pivoting litter systems, standard Ferno and Lifeport stretchers. The FTS folds into a compact size for storage in the aircraft baggage compartment. It is easy to deploy and has no requirement  for FAA certification.
