Ready Heat II Active Hypothermia blanket
Ready Heat II is designed for versatile use both outdoors, directly at the scene of an accident, and indoors, such as in emergency or hospital settings. The product features active heating, meaning it generates heat to warm the patient and seamlessly follows them through the care chain without interruptions in heat delivery.
All Ready Heat products are made from lightweight, water-resistant, non-woven material with minimal fiber shedding. Each product is individually vacuum-sealed, and the heating process begins as soon as the packaging is opened. The blanket reaches operating temperature within 3 to 15 minutes and maintains a consistent heat of 38–40°C for up to 8 hours.
The blanket is highly space-efficient and suitable for all types of rescue operations. It can also be cut into smaller sections when needed, for instance, in traffic accidents where patients may be trapped. Ready Heat II is used extensively by emergency and healthcare departments, ambulances, fire and rescue services, maritime rescue teams, mountain rescue teams, and more throughout Sweden.
