PXB water rescue board complete

Designed specifically for lifeguards and operators, it provides significantly faster rescue times, improved safety, and reduces demands on staff. The innovation requires just two trained users to carry out a pool rescue for deck-level pools, and three trained users for freeboard pools (max freeboard depth 30cms) as opposed to the traditional four users. This means fewer lifeguards are drawn into a rescue, enabling them to continue to monitor other swimmers and perform key roles in a rescue situation. The versatile board can be used with or without a freeboard and at any depth. A rescue using the new Pool Extraction Board can be accomplished in as little as 90 seconds. The new board has also been designed to work around existing pool lifeguard techniques for seamless training and integration through the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).

Rescue Boat Sea Scoopa

Rescue Boat Sea Scoopa is an essential device for all rescue boats, designed to efficiently scoop and lift a person overboard onto a rescue vessel. This portable device comes with its own carry bag and works effectively on both rigid inflatable boats and powerboats with higher freeboards.Simplified Operation: The Sea Scoopa is easy to use, requiring only two people to perform a complete man-overboard rescue. Its straightforward handling addresses both the duty of care to the victim and occupational health and safety (OH&S) obligations to rescuers, minimizing injury risks during rescue operations.Unique Mechanical Advantage: Unlike other man-overboard (MOB) rescue devices, which may require complex handling or pose risks to rescuers, the Sea Scoopa provides a mechanical advantage. It enhances lifting techniques and reduces the risk of back injuries by using a 2:1 mechanical parbuckling system, making the lifting process safer and easier.Horizontal Retrieval: The device is specifically designed for horizontal recovery of individuals, critical for avoiding circulatory collapse—a common risk when victims are lifted vertically out of the water. The Sea Scoopa ensures the person is lifted horizontally and transferred directly onto an integrated stretcher smoothly and efficiently. The Sea Scoopa is made from durable materials and has been NATA-tested to meet Royal Australian Navy standards, confirming its capacity to lift up to 300 kg. Developed and manufactured in Australia, the device is now used by various organizations, including the Australian Navy and Customs. This device represents a significant improvement in the safety and efficiency of man-overboard rescues, making it a preferred choice among rescue agencies worldwide.
