Tirol Winter Kit

The Tirol Winter Kit is designed to extend the capabilities of compatible Titan basket stretchers for rescue operations in snow-covered and mountainous environments. The system allows the stretcher to be dragged over snow, making it suitable for on-slope and off-piste rescue operations, including use by rescuers on skis.

The kit features rigid fiberglass shells with an inner Kevlar layer for increased resistance to abrasion. A fin-like device underneath the stretcher improves stability and manoeuvrability on snow. The shells attach using simple rubber bands and are designed to be easy to repair if damaged.

Extension handles provide additional control when dragging the stretcher. The handles can be divided into three sections, allowing them to be packed into a compact space when not in use.

Titan Ti Tapered rescue stretcher specifically designed for advanced rescue in all types of environments. The choice of materials is unique to this type of stretchers, providing a half weight reduction in comparison with same models of stainless steel. Titan Ti Tapered, patented Stratford Load™ attachment points that make it easy and fast to attach the sling. Also available as a split stretcher (2-piece). The Titan Tapered Basket Stretcher is an all-stainless, TIG-welded frame construction basket stretcher. It relies on its frame geometry, construction methods and materials for its ultimate strength.The Titan Tapered Basket Stretcher is UL Classified and conforms to the NFPA 1983, Standard on Life Safety Rope and Equipment for Emergency Services, 2012 Edition.The Titan Series Basket Stretchers are specifically designed to perform in a technical rescue environment. The materials allow it to survive in almost all conditions, while the design itself allows for a user-friendly platform from which to work.Unique features include a 25.4mm (1 inch) top-tube to make it easy to hold onto relative to smaller-tube frames. It also comes with four StratLoad™ attachment points that make it quick, easy and safer to clip your Litter Bridle into.
