The entire design results in a very lightweight system that can be disassembled, carried over long distances, and used for even the most advanced rescue operations in difficult terrain. The entire wheel system has a total weight of only 10.8 kg, and should not be confused with more affordable and heavier steel options.
The Tirol Xtreme Kit features an oversized XXL wheel. The tire has the same diameter as the "Slim" version but is wider and even more resistant in uneven terrain.

The Tirol Kit is used in combination with Titan stretchers. Depending on your stretcher type, regular or tapered, you can make it compatible with the Tirol Kit.
The Tirol Winter Kit is designed to extend the capabilities of compatible Titan basket stretchers for rescue operations in snow-covered and mountainous environments. The system allows the stretcher to be dragged over snow, making it suitable for on-slope and off-piste rescue operations, including use by rescuers on skis.The kit features rigid fiberglass shells with an inner Kevlar layer for increased resistance to abrasion. A fin-like device underneath the stretcher improves stability and manoeuvrability on snow. The shells attach using simple rubber bands and are designed to be easy to repair if damaged.Extension handles provide additional control when dragging the stretcher. The handles can be divided into three sections, allowing them to be packed into a compact space when not in use.
