NORSE RESCUE® Chest Seal Vented, Single

The NORSE RESCUE® Chest Seal Vented is an advanced occlusive dressing designed for the treatment of open chest wounds caused by penetrating trauma. The integrated vent system allows air and fluids to escape from the chest cavity while preventing outside air from entering, helping reduce the risk of tension pneumothorax.

Penetrating chest injuries that result in open chest wounds can lead to tension pneumothorax, one of the leading causes of preventable death in trauma and battlefield environments. The NORSE RESCUE® Chest Seal Vented is designed to provide rapid and effective treatment in these critical situations by allowing controlled air release while maintaining a secure seal over the wound.

The chest seal features a medical-grade hydrogel adhesive that adheres reliably even when the skin is exposed to blood, sweat, hair, sand, or water. This ensures dependable performance in challenging prehospital, tactical, or rescue environments.

Each package also includes a compress to help clean or dry the wound before application.
