Multi Transfer Mattress
The Multi Transfer Mattress has been developed in close cooperation with the Norwegian Air Ambulance to ensure safe, efficient, and gentle patient transfers in demanding operational environments. The mattress is specially adapted for use on ambulance aircraft stretchers but is equally suitable for ground ambulances, helicopters, and other prehospital transport systems.
The construction combines high durability with low weight and excellent flexibility. The foldable midsection allows easier handling, while integrated side handles ensure safe maneuvering in and out of vehicles and aircraft. The smooth, wear-resistant underside reduces friction during transfers, and rounded foot-end corners improve ergonomics and protect surrounding surfaces.
The mattress provides high patient comfort with stable body support, including a reinforced transition between head and torso for improved safety. Dedicated shoulder belt openings ensure full compatibility with securing systems.
Manufactured from durable, medical-grade materials, the Multi Transfer Mattress is designed for daily professional use in rescue and transport operations. The surface is easy to clean using approved medical disinfectants.
